Well, we  just found out that Spot for Dogs has been nominated for Atlanta INtown’s “Best of the Holidays” 2009 survey, and Holy Schmoley-are we excited!!!  Now, we need all of you to go on their website and cast your Spot for Dogs votes. Please note the deadline to vote is November 8th, so get ‘em in as soon and as often as you can, and also tell EVERYBODY ya know to get their votes in too-it’s not like we wanna lose or anything. Howdy there, and welcome to the Spot for Blogs-we mean Dogs, or Blogs about dogs-Well you know what we mean. We’ve been busy, busy, busy lately and have lots of stuff to catch y’all up on. So, go grab yourself a milkbone or some bon-bons, and we’ll keep an eye on yer dog(s) while you read this.

Well, we launched our new website and are really excited to know what everyone thinks about it! Leave us a comment, good or not so good on our  Facebook page, in an email to Spot for Dogs, or as a comment on here. If you don’t wanna tell us on the internet, it’s OK, you can just tell us in person when you drop yer dog off. We’re flexible like that.

And, we also have begun to offer scheduled and emergency veterinary care by The Clairmont Animal Hospital’s Mobile Care Unit. We had Dr. Mike Smith and the Mobile Care Unit at Spot For Dogs on Oct.7th for a Meet and Greet with our customers, and had a great turnout. The Mobile Unit will be coming to Spot for Dogs twice a month for all your routine veterinary needs, and has emergency care capabilities, neutering/declawing and even new surgical procedures. We also now offer TRAINING!!  Yup, Ken Dupcak is on our staff  for all your doggy’s fun little habits you need to break, or to get that “Old dog, New tricks” thing under wraps. Email us to set up a time to discuss all your training needs, questions or deepest darkest desires.

We’re going to start posting pics of all the Spot for Dogs pups that come in, so check back here DAILY to see if yer little guy or girl has their pic up yet. We’re going to feature all our clients’ pride and joy’s! And, they will all be available in the photo gallery, for your viewing pleasure.
